From the time that she purchased her first pair of turntables in 2001, Kid Delicious has been steadily rising to the top of club life. Her unique artistic talent and endless determination have earned her residencies at many clubs and lounges throughout St. Louis and surrounding areas. Kid has experience playing in venues from lounges to clubs, including a two-year residency at the world famous Velvet. Other St. Louis residencies include The Pepper Lounge, The Upstairs Lounge, Drunken Fish, Atomic Cowboy, The Kastle, and The Oz. Kid's reputation for success has earned her bookings in various cities throughout the United States and the opportunity to play at events with artists such as Fergie, Nigel Richards, Oscar G, DJ Irene, Freaky Flow, Dave Aude, Seb Fontaine, and Crystal Method.

Velocity Promote Group voted Kid Best All Around DJ and Best Promoter in 2004. During that year she also won The Dance Music Master Mix Off Competition, a local semi-annual DJ competition. In the beginning of 2005 Kid won another DJ competition sponsored by a St. Louis newspaper called The Riverfront Times. As the winner of this competition Kid had the opportunity to perform amongst the worlds top DJs at the seventh annual Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida, the official closing event for The Winter Music Conference. In the spring of 2005 The Riverfront Times nominated Kid Delicious for "Best DJ" in their annual music awards .

Kid plays records, CDs, and uses "Serato Scratch" by Rane to create a delicious mix of everything from electro to tribal house to progressive house. Kid has been a pioneer in St. Louis for digital DJ technology, using "PCDJ Red" by Visiosonic and "Traktor" by Native Instruments since the beginning of her DJ career. In 2002 Kid purchased "Final Scratch 1.0" by Stanton, the first system to use time encoded records to control MP3s and other digital audio files. In addition to playing records and CDs Kid used "Final Scratch 1.0" until she purchased "Serato Scratch" in 2005. "Serato Scratch" uses the same technology as "Final Scratch" but has the superior quality of a Rane product.

2008 has brought big changes for this promising artist. This year Kid relocated to Los Angeles, California where she is currently focusing on production.  She recently joined World Wide Exclusive Records, a Romanian record label which released her latest mix CD available now on Beatport.  Stay tuned for more delicious sounds coming soon!
